Dear all,
The Asian Gaza participants from India left yesterday back to Delhi via Wagah border in the afternoon. They spent a busy day and night in Lahore. May be worth coming to Lahore after they have been waiting and travelling few days from different parts of India. All 28 participants stayed at the homes of friends and supporters of Pakistanis For Palestine organisation. This was a wonderful experience. Every participant have a story to tell.
The two friends Mutu Krishnen from South India and Ekin Sakaguchi ( writer of The People Newspaper, Osaka-Japan) who stayed at my place had to walk with me early in the morning with my morning walk colleagues of the community. Please find enclosed one picture of this morning walk at Jallo Park Lahore. They had a long chat with the friends who call themselves “non political”, they are mainly small traders of Lahore.
Later in the afternoon, we were at the Railway Station Lahore to see off the three going to Zahdan along with our Japani friend. They two from Lahore are Niaz Khan president National Trade Union Federation Punjab and Adam Pal leader of Trade Unions Defense campaign. (photo attached) The third participant from Lahore Munib Haq could not take off time from his job at Dunia television. They will be joined by six participants from Karachi and three from Rawalpindi. The Pakistan delegation will arrive in Zahdan (Iran) on 8th December. The Indian participants of the Caravan will fly from Delhi to Zahdan on 8th morning. This is the first Asian caravan to Palestine going by road all the way to Gaza in a bid to break the seize of Gaza by Israel Zionist regime.
