Turkish military government’s war against the Kurdish people
These pictures are not in Syria, but in Kurdish cities in Turkey. This is how the Turkish army behave in its repressive and destructive campaign against the Kurdish people in the southern eastern region of Turkey, while the world is silent.
Total solidarity with the Kurdish popular masses in their struggle for their liberation.
Long live the unity of the struggle of the popular classes for freedom, equality and social justice.

Statement of the Women from the city of Douma :13/12/2015 A terrible day in the life of East Ghouta residents
On Sunday the 13th of December, 2015, Douma and surrounding towns were subject to 59 indiscriminate aerial attacks, as well as a large number of cluster bombs. The preliminary death toll is 38 civilians, including 9 children and 5 women, according to figures provided by the Syrian Network for Human Rights. This number is likely to increase as crews continue to search for victims under the rubble. Schools in Douma and Zamalka, as well as a medical centre were targeted in the attack. This, in an area which has become almost devoid of medical care due to constant shelling.
Eye witnesses point to Russian culpability for the attack as new weapons, including cluster bombs, were used. In addition, the airplanes were not heard by residents prior to the attack, as is the case with Syrian regime jets. This led to increased casualties as civilians did not have enough time to hide. It is worth to reiterate that Eastern Ghouta is entirely free of ISIS (Daesh) and all of its civilian structure ONLY contain civilians.
These attacks coincide with the launch of the campaign ‘I have a right to education’ by several women’s groups and organizations in Douma . The groups demand that the international community protect the children of Douma and ensure the resumption of school life to the city. The shelling hit one of the campaign’s preparatory meetings in a school compound, leading to the death of three teachers, the school principal and 3 students, in addition to the injury of thirteen girls under the age of 12. One girl is in critical condition and two girls have had limbs amputated.
We are a group of women activists from Douma and Eastern Ghouta, as well as women standing in solidarity with them, demanding that the international community and the warring parties:
– Stop targeting civilians and using indiscriminate and explosive weapons in civilian areas, as well as to ensure a total protection of civilians.
– Stop targeting civilian infrastructure, particularly medical and educational facilities.
– Break the siege on towns that have been besieged and ensure safe corridors for civilians and humanitarian aid.
– Ensure the protection of civilian educational activities which are trying to save what is left of the future of Syrian children, who are threatened by violence, ignorance and systematic attacks.

Comment of the Revolutionary Left Movement in Syria
This is a new dispute on a national-ethic basis, in addition to other divisions such as the one based on sectarianism.
These conflicts, along ethnic or religious lines among the people, is a deadly threat to the struggle of the people for their freedom and dignity. And it serves the ruling classes and regional and international powers that manipulate them to serve their own interests.
The Unity of the struggles of the popular masses, no matter what are the ethnic and religious affiliations, is an essential condition for the victory of a more humanist horizon.
Our revolution is a popular revolution, not an ethnic or a religious one.

Campaign in Douma to stop the bombing against schools – حملة في دوما لوقف القصف ضد المدارس
We – civil workers based in the city of Doma- call on the international community and human rights organizations to bear their responsibilities towards the civilians in the Ghouta region, and especially in our city to enable our children to complete their studies in schools normally like the other children of the world, according to what is stated in the Charter of the United Nations Special Rights of the Children, which states that education is a fundamental right of children’s rights.
And from where we reside we are the best witnessed of the regime’s brutality, and the bitter reality in which the educational process in the city suffers.
