Electing Golam Satter as President and AAM Foyez as General Secretary a new committee of Bangladesh Shramik Federation (Bangladesh Labor Federation) was formed.

With a fresh commitment of declaration of right to free trade union and national minimum wage of Tk18,000/- as living wage, and with the implementation of the demand of formation of a National Wage Commission including the establishment of working class-peasant-toiling masses’ government removing capitalism, a new committee of Bangladesh Shramik Federation was formed.
On 30 March 2018 on Friday, at Topkhana road in Sishu Kalayan Parishad auditorium in the capital city of Dhaka a committee of 25 members were formed making Golam Satter President and AAM Foyez General Secretary respectively. Comrade Golam Satter presided over the council meeting.

In the inaugural session of the council, Professor Nurun Nobi, Shramik Karmochari Oikky Parishad Joint coordinator Naimul Ahsan Jouel, Bangladesh Songjukto Shramik Federation General Secretary Mokaddes Hossain,Working President Harun Ur Rashid Bhuiyan, Labor leader Alimgir Majumder, Peasant leader Shanti Waddeder, Bangladesh Swadhinata Party Vice-Chairman Abdul Gafur Miah, Bangladesh Samajtantrik Front Convener Hamidul Haq, Bangladesh Krishok Federation General Secretary Zayed Iqbal Khan, Bangladesh Bhumiheen Samity General Secretary Subal Sarkar, Garib Mukti Andolon leader Shamsuzzaman Milon, Shramajibi Sangh leader Abdul Ali, CPBML Polit Breau Member Mukhlesuddin Shahin spoke in the function. Besides, among others, Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy director of Labor Department and Firozur Rahman Fakir, Assistant Director, Election Conducting Committer President Md. Nesar Hossain , member Mezbauddin Ahmmed addressed the function.

In the organizational session of the council, Senior vice-president master Muklessur Rahman Talukdar presided over while Rafiqul islam Pathik, Hazrat Ali Mollah, Golam Kadir, Abu Rahman Mehdi, Women committee President Jannatul Ferdous, General Secretary Ambia Khatun Shila, Advocate Abdul Karin Sikder, Advovcate Mamun Ur Rashid including different regional leaders of representatives spoke in the meeting.
