We end today determined, more than ever, to fight. Determined to never give up on the hope that we have for a better India. An India where our Constitution is respected and upheld, where we are all given the freedom of expression we are entitled to. An India that stands for equality and non-discrimination.
When others choose fear, division and hatred, we choose unity, we choose justice, we choose compassion and we choose fairness. And we know you do too.
We haven’t given up in over 17 years, and we have no plans of doing so today. We’ve experienced these kinds of obstacles before, and triumphed against the odds. As part of our CJP family, we want to remind you that this is not a defeat, for any of us, this is a call to action. Together, we must not give up, but work harder to build something better, starting now.
We will only fight harder to;
Work with and defend Adivasi and forest dwelling human rights defenders in Sonbhadra to secure their land and livelihood and trump false cases against them.
Provide aid in the humanitarian crisis underway in Assam, so that innocent people are not rendered stateless, with no place, no country to call home.
Provide human rights education to thousands of children, teaching them the value of dialogue and diversity, and the importance of their rights.
Battle in the courts for justice for the victims and survivors of the 2002 Gujarat riots.
Bring to justice those who incite and spread hate speech.
Defend democracy and Constitutional rights.
With you on our side, our movement has reached unprecedented heights under our current government.
There is hope, because together, we are fearless.

Over the last five years, our fellow citizens have fought a courageous battle against hate politics. They have fought for a more equal and just India. Students, teachers, farmers, workers, dalits, adivasis, women, minorities – every constituency among our people has raised its voice against the unmaking of India and our Constitution by the BJP-led right-wing government.
The election results today make it clear that our battle is far from over. But we will not be disheartened. The election results only strengthen our resolve to fight for a robust democracy and a just society. We will continue our struggle to protect and uphold constitutional values. We will continue to resist the onslaught on fundamental freedoms and liberties.
