Balay Mindanaw Group of NGOs : Balay Mindanaw Foundation Inc. (BMFI) is a Mindanao-based and Mindanao-focused Philippine NGO. It aims at transforming poor and conflict-torn region into a “balay”, a true home for its peoples – Christians, Muslims and Lumads, indigenous peoples of Mindanao. It is a primarily engaged in peace-building, promoting sustainable integrated area development, developing the mechanisms and technology for democratic participation of peoples and communities in local governance and facilitating agrarian reform implementation.
