Open letter to the CPP/NPA
The Communist Party of the Philippines went through a deep crisis in 1992. Since then, its leadership sentenced to death and ordered the assassination of former leaders of the party and of activists from other Left organizations. This policy raised many protests, in the Philippines as well as internationally. You will find under this heading a very complete dossier on this matter.
We are publishing the polemical documents of the CPP-NDF-NPA, but more than reluctantly. Indeed, they are full of slanderous accusations against activists. We would have prefered not to contribute to spread such slanders. Nevertheless, these documents are indispensable for understanding the ongoing polemics. Thus, we resigned ourselves to post them on our website.

There were two odd things that many in UP do not want to talk about regarding the Mafia-style rubout assassination of Rollie Kintanar and the killings before him.
First all these have been mainly a one-way street. Those who had been exterminated - Hector Mabilangan, Conrado Balweg, Filemon (...)
