With more than a month to go, the IIRE-Manila is staring at greater prospects for the 4th Asian Global Justice School, this coming July 13 to August 3, 2012.
This year’s school expects around 35 participants and lecturers coming from Asia and other parts of the world. Numerous organizations, from various political persuasions, in the Philippines and Indonesia are expected to send at least one (1) participant each.
Groups and Parties from Hong Kong, Japan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will also send their respective representatives. There is also a great chance that befriended organizations from South Korea, Malaysia and East Timor will send delegates.
Our fraternal organization from Australia will also send at most two (2) participants.
Comrades from France, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Brazil will also participate in the three-week school.
However, activist-participants from the third world countries expressed difficulties in raising sufficient funds for their international airfare. Thus, in behalf of the participating organizations, the IIRE-Manila is calling all supportive individuals and organizations to help us raise the much needed funds for the third world participants. As leading activists in their respective organizations, their attendance and active participation in the Asian Global Justice School this year would surely have a long lasting positive impact on themselves and their respective organizations.
Donations can be made through Paypal or Bank Transfer. Please check the right-side-panel of the IIRE-Manila website for details.
