International Mother Language Day

Programs were held 21 February in observance of International Mother Language Day. It took place in Dhaka at national level and in Barisal at divisional level.

Today on 21 February at dawn floral wreath was put forward to the central martyrdom in Dhaka in observance of International Mother Language Day and in remembrance of Martyrs [2] by Badrul Alam who is the President of Bangladesh Krishok Federation-BKF and by Zayed Iqbal Khan who is the president of other factions of BKF including central leaders.

Bangladesh Krishok Federation and Bangladesh Kishani Sabha Barisal District Unit observed International Mother Language Day and place floral wreath paying homage to the martyrs of 21 February in 1952 in the language movement.

 International Woman’s Day held

Bangladesh Kiahsni Sabha and Bangladesh Floating Labor Union observed International Woman’s Day holding rally, procession and human chain in front of National Pres Club, Dhaka at 10 am today on 8 March 2018.

Presided over by Bangladesh Floating Labor Union General Secretary Jahanara Begum, the rally was addressed by, among others, CPBML General Secretary Comrade Badrul Alam, Bangladesh Krishok Federation Central leader comrade Zayed Iqbal Khan, Woman’s Leader Advocate Ambia Begum Shila, Rijia Begum and Shathi Akter.
