What is Ras l’front ? Ras l’front is a network fighting fascism. It includes 100 local groups, registered as associations. Network action enables groups to act together, to think, exchange information and experience. There also commissions adressing specific issues such as the Internet, immigration, public housing projects, action againts moral order, and Music and Culture.

Is Ras l’front’s action political ? Yes, making the FN lose its influence is a political struggle, it concerns all and any of us. We have no other objectives outside that of making the far right lose ground. RLF does not adress other issues, does not propose a complete political program to solve problems in France. This is the duty of parties and political groups. The network several times palyed the part of catalyst to develop demonstrations with the maximum mass character. This was achieved by cooperating with existing organisations, never by competing with them.

What do Ras l’front’s groups do ? Whatever is of use : demonstrations, meetings, conferences, leaflets, booklets, fairs, concerts, exhibitions, book sales, even film festival, as well as neighbourhood community meals. Groups are in the best position to know what action is the most fruitful and they ara certainly the only ones to assess what is possible.

– The FN is made stronger by our steps backwards. We intend to lose no ground.
– We have to act right where we are. This is the most efficient action.
– We lead a battle in which millions of persons find an echo to their own feelings. The part of Ras l’front is to act with others, to help allies to get into action...
– Our fight is political and aims at reintegrating one person out of five into the democratic field and into social action. We act openly, we must be able to invite our friends and neighbours to participate in our initiatives. WE never started any violent action, but we did not either refuse confrontation.
