On 21 August 2019, a day long 2^nd meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh-ML(CPBML) took place in the Central office based in Dhaka.

The meeting ended in declaring the coming two years as organizational years. A decision of not being engaged with any work based on alliances at this moment has been taken up. In the first meeting of the Central Committee after the completion of reconstruction of the party, in the Special Congress held on 29 December 2017, only the General Secretary and Polit Bureau Members were elected by the Central Committee members. Thus, the second meeting of the Central Committee was crucial.

In the meeting elaborate discussion were held on national and international perspective and its relation to Bangladesh’s present political situation. The meeting laid emphasis on political strength of workers, peasants and toiling classes and creation of vote bank among the people on the basis of that strength and uniting people with the organizational strength of 12 mass organizations.

The meeting also emphasized taking urgent steps to increase international relationship of the party. The meeting undertook the decision to take steps to organize the student and youth organization apart from the 12 sectoral party affiliated people’s organizations.

In fine, a decision was undertaken to operate Marxist political training program integrating the leadership of people’s organization.
