Comrade Badrul Alam, Advisor of the organization and President of Bangladesh Krishok Federation spoke in the meeting as chief guest. Among others, Zayed Iqbal Khan, Vice-president of Joy Bangla National Workers Federation, Abdulah Basir, General Secretary of Bangladesh Garments Textile Workers Federation, Rani Khan, General Secretary of Mukto Garments Workers Federation, Maryam Akhtar, General Secretary, National Labor Federation, Dhaka Metropolitan Taxicab Drivers Union General Secretary Shahidul Islam, Joint General Secretary,Textile Garments Workers Federation, Najma Begum, Jai Bangla National Labor Federation Finance Secretary Kohinur Begum, Office Secretary Rupali Akhter, Pirojpur District Representative Md. Jamal Uddin Liton and Ibne Masud Talukdar. Babul also spoke in the meeting.
At the beginning of the inauguration ceremony, President Advocate Jahanara Haque welcomed the executive committee with flowers and said that we have to appear before the country and the nation as an independent labor organization. In addition, to build a labor movement, ordinary members must be collected.
The General Secretary of the organization Lovely Yasmin congratulated the Honorable Labor Minister Munnujan Sufian on behalf of the organization for her cooperation in registering the organization. She called upon the workers of all professions across Bangladesh to unite under the banner of Jai Bangla Jatiya Sramik Federation.
Zayed Iqbal Khan, the vice-president of the organization, in his speech at the inauguration ceremony, thanked the leaders and workers of all levels for electing him as the Vice-President of the organization. He said, in order to strengthen the organization, general members should be collected along with basic unions across the country. He emphasized on having accountability and transparency within the organization.
Adviser of the Federation, Comrade Badrul Alam highlighted the tradition of labor movement and said, Jai Bangla National Labor Federation will achieve the desired success by advancing the movement to ensure the safety of the workers, especially the safety of the women workers. He said that once the owners used to make the workers work 18 hours a day and paid low wages. But in the face of intense labor movement, the American ruling class accepted the demands of 8 hours working day raised by the workers. International labor solidarity is an outgrowth of the May Day labor movement. He also said that there are various conspiracies going on to destroy the rich garment sector of Bangladesh. The livelihood of millions of workers is linked to this sector. No sabotage will be tolerated.
