Our Position and Demands
1. Tribute and Solidarity
We honor the martyrs of this democratic struggle, express deep sympathy for the families of the victims, and demand immediate medical and material support for the wounded.
2. Justice and Accountability
The perpetrators—whether police, military, or political officials—must be held accountable. The killings and repression of peaceful demonstrators are crimes against humanity.
3. Democratic Rights Must Be Respected
The right to protest, freedom of assembly, and freedom of expression are fundamental. The Indonesian state must end its repressive tactics and recognize the legitimate demands of the people.
4. International Solidarity
The CPBML stands firmly with the struggling people of Indonesia. We call upon all progressive and democratic forces worldwide to expose state repression and extend solidarity to the people’s movement.
History proves that no amount of violence can silence the will of the masses. The Indonesian people’s struggle today is a part of the broader global fight against authoritarianism, corruption, and exploitation.
